The origin
Some destinies are written in leather. It begins in Normandy — the leather capital of Europe in the Middle Ages, a land where this living material seeped into the stones, the rivers, the hands of those who shaped it. This is where the story begins. And without knowing it yet, this is where the house begins too.
His first instinct as a photographer? To point his lens at the tanneries. Not the castles, not the cliffs. The tanneries. As if something, already, kept drawing him back to the same place.
On both sides of his family tree, one grandfather was a bottier and the other managed a luxury footwear store. Heritage is not spoken — it is felt in the hands.
